George Winston Griffin, 77, of Bedford, died Monday, December 12, 2022. He was born in Winsor, VA on December 17, 1944 a son of the late Andrew Bransford Griffin and Nellie Mae Griffin. George is survived by his wife, Mary Curtis; a daughter, Elizabeth Griffin; a step-daughter, Kathryn Garcia; three nieces, Frances Holland, Connie Klass and Phyllis Thesbadeau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said 11:00 am Friday, December 16, 2022 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
