Luther Willard Hardy, 64, of Roanoke went to his heavenly home on June 30, 2019. He was a resident at South Roanoke Rehab. Luther was Preceded in death by his first wife Bonnie T. Hardy and second wife Joyce Hardy; father, Joseph Ralph Hardy; stepfather, Joseph H. Holland; sons, Edward T. Goad, James F. Goad; sisters, Lula Brough, Carolyn Pierce, Pamula Hardy, brothers Clinton Hardy, Howard Hardy. Luther is survived by his mother Lena M. Holland; daughter Loretta Roberts and husband J.C. ; sisters Joyce Underwood, Lois Carr, Lilly Craighead and husband James, Erline Eldridge and husband Howard ; brothers Danny Hardy and wife Mary, Ralph Hardy and wife Jerri, Ricky Hardy and wife Leona, Mike Hardy and wife Vicki, Robert Holland and wife Sara; a host of grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; Fur baby Cujo; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends. A celebration of life will held 3:00pm July 20, 2019 at Roanoke Congregational Holiness Church, 349 Mountain Ave. Roanoke Va. 24016.
