John Edward Layne (Boogie), 64, of Concord, VA died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 25, 2024. John was the son of the late Burton and Sterlene Layne. He is survived by his sister, Laura Layne of Rustburg; and brother, Ricky Crist (Kay) of Oregon. Also surviving are his niece, Lindsay Salmons (Jonathan) of Verona; nephews, Steven Layne (Brittany) of Evington and Larry Crist (Angie) of Oregon; one great-niece, Heidi Layne; and great-nephews, Jaxon, Leo, and Daniel Layne; and Jaxon and Maddox Crist.
