Joseph Dylan Phillips
Joseph Dylan Phillips, known lovingly to family and friends as Dylan, passed away on July 4, 2026, in Charlottesville, Virginia, after a courageous battle with a long and severe illness. A celebration of life will be held on August 22 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Solara Ridge, located at 7903 Charlemont Rd, Goode, VA 24556. Family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable life Dylan lived. “We will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.” Gone but never forgotten, Dylan will remain forever in the hearts of all who loved him. Marie Patricia Stanton Guilfoyle
Marie Patricia Stanton Guilfoyle, 91, also simply known as “Maureen” to family and friends, passed away peacefully in Richmond, Virginia, on July 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. For those wishing to honor Maureen’s remarkable life, her family asks that you raise a toast in her memory. In true GMo fashion, please do so over a thimbleful sized portion of White Zinfandel, if you can still find it, served over a generous helping of ice cubes. Please join her family for an Almost Irish Wake, Tuesday, 8/4 from 6:30-8:30 PM, at the Big Lick Brewery in Roanoke, VA. We also ask you to join us in honoring Maureen with a funeral mass, burial and luncheon on Wednesday, 8/5, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Moneta, VA. Viewing at 10:30 AM and mass at 11:30 AM.
