Valarie Shannon Coffey, 45, of Madison Heights, VA was peacefully called to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 6, 1979 in Lynchburg, VA a daughter of Terry Coffey, Sr. and the late Kathy Litchford. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her fiancé, Larry Dean Pillow.
She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and worked in management at several area grocery stores and at Gabes. In addition to her father, Terry Coffey, Sr. she is survived by her stepmother, Sharyn Coffey; son, Matthu Morris whom she considered her WHOLE WORLD; brother, Terry (TJ) Coffey, Jr.; sister, Shawna Ranson (Brian); niece, Brooklynn Knight; nephew, Blayne Rankins; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton Duck officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
