Marie Staton, 83, of Lynchburg, VA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1942, and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Moore and Helen Lipscomb; sister, Pat Ferguson; and son-in-law, Russell.
She leaves behind her daughters, Stacey and Kristi; granddaughters, Madison (Hyden) and Molly; brother, Eddie (Debbie) Lipscomb; brother-in-law, Charles; and numerous family members.
She not only devoted her entire life to her family and friends; she dedicated herself to her Montague-Betts family for over 60 years.
Per her request, there will be no memorial service.
