Dr. Daniel E. Grabeel, Sr. was born February 23, 1934 left this earth on June 23, 2026 to be with his Heavenly Father with his wife of 50 years by his side.
Dan was proceeded in death by his children, Katherine and Danny; and parents, Mary Kate and Charles.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Grabeel; daughter, Dr. Shelly Abernathy; and four grandchildren, Noah Charles Grabeel, Victoria Grabeel McHugh, Kirk A. Abernathy, and Danielle A. Bradford.
Dan was active officer in numerous organizations to name a few VDA, ADG, LDS, 1st Presbyterian choir and SS, Bluefield College and Casa.
He graduated MCV – DDS and practiced dentistry for 53 years.
Family will be receiving friends at their home from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., on Monday, June 29, 2026.
A private service will be held with Dr. Reverend Nancy Dawson.
