Billy Robert Gordon, Sr, 71, of Moneta, VA died Monday, March 16, 2020. He was born in Bedford, VA on February 2, 1949, a son of the late Roy Gordon and Thelma Rice Gordon. In addition to his parents Billy was preceded by his wife, Linda Sue Carter Gordon; one brother; and four sisters. He was a sweet and kind man, never had a mean thing to say about anyone. He could fix or rig anything to work. He always had a big garden with the best tomatoes. Billy enjoyed farming, cows, and his many chickens. He loved his family and his dog Queenie dearly and would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed by all. Billy is survived by his son, Billy Gordon, Jr. and wife, Tracie; daughters, Cathy Overstreet and husband, Troy, Susan Mullins and husband, Chad; grandchildren, Justin Morgan, Amber Morgan, Coy Mullins, Hope Mullins, Sky Mullins, Onna Mullins; one brother; two sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Due to the Covid 19 virus the visitation for Billy Robert Gordon, Sr. has been postponed to a later date that will be announced.
