Robert Joe Halsey, 69, of Big Island, died Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Bedford County on March 12, 1953 a son of the late, Albert Halsey and Carrie Virginia Comer Halsey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Maggie Mae Halsey. He is survived by his two sons, Benjamin “Joe” Halsey and wife, Heather; Zachary Roston Faulkner; a brother, Danny Halsey and wife, Lynn; three sisters, Brenda Whorley and husband, Larry; Valerie Totty; Vickey Draper and husband, Bo; nine grandchildren, Allyssia Halsey, Elizabeth Halsey, McKenzie Halsey, Aniela Halsey, Thai Halsey, Jack Faulkner, Garrett Faulkner, Gage Sweatte and Jenna Pierce.
