Jack Major “Bunk” Perrow, Jr., 71, of Big Island, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 on his farm in Sedalia, VA. He was born in Lynchburg, VA on September 12, 1949, a son of the late Jack Major Perrow, Sr. and Louise Lockard Perrow. Bunk was a cattleman, hoof trimmer and farmer. He lived the majority of his life on the family farm and spent many years working in the dairy industry alongside his father. He loved music and passed that love onto his sons. Bunk had many dogs over the years and few people loved their pets as well as Bunk loved his dogs. He loved spending time and telling stories with his tight-knit group of friends in Sedalia. Along with his parents, Bunk was preceded in death by his younger brother, Ashby Glen Perrow. He is survived by his son, Ashby Perrow, his wife Whitney; grandson, Major; step-granddaughter Kate; and son, Andy Perrow and Jennifer Massie; as well as his former wife, Joyce Reese. He was beloved in his community and beyond and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Saturday July 10th at Perrowmont Farm, 1342 Ayrshire Ln., Big Island, Virginia from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.
