Horace James “Jimmy” Tate 49 of Bedford, Va departed this life on August 1 2020. He was born June 20, 1971 in Charlottesville, VA. The son of Rebecca Sacre and the late Horace James Gibson and Ernest Tate. In addition to his dad, he is proceeded in death by his Grandparents James Payne Sr and Helen Payne, Randolph Gibson, Lillian Woody, Ernest and Betty Tate, His In-Laws John Pritchett and Carolyn Wyrick, Uncles James Payne, Johnny Payne, Paul Payne, William Tate, Sidney Tate, Charles Tate and a brother in law Roger Pritchett. James is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 29 years, Cheryl Pritchett Tate; his mother, Rebecca (Tom) Sacre, His Father Ernest Tate, Brothers Brian Tate (LeeAnn), Scottie Tate (Tammy), His sisters Betty Folsom (Scott), Laura Moon (Junior), Patricia Gibson, Tammy Young (Mike), His brother in law John Pritchett Jr, His sister in laws Atlanta Rodgers, Sueann Pritchett, Uncles Dan Payne (Shirley), Aunts Joanne Payne, Debra McCranie , Special Niece Tiffany Tate, Special Nephew Justin Tate, Special Friends Dwaine and Laura Thacker and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and his Fur Baby Rocky and Lady.
