Barbara Harris Snead, 79, of Bedford, died Sunday, October 10, 2021. She was born in Charlottesville on September 24, 1942, daughter of the late Charles and Maree Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Etta Dunbar, her fiancé, Leonard Whorley, and her two late husband’s Arvil L. Siler and Thomas Snead. She is survived by two daughters, Gracie Robertson and Rosa Burnette; her grandchildren, Chester Coles, Brandon Dunbar, Timothy Dunbar, James Robertson, John Robertson, Jessi Robertson, and Steve Burnette; her great grandchildren, James Robertson and Kylee Maree Robertson; and two sisters, Sharon Siler, Annie Crickenberger of Charlottesville; . A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 in Oakwood Cemetery.
